Falcon Prepares Thanksgiving Meals
This past November, several Falcon employees and their families joined the United Way and other volunteers at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston to assemble Thanksgiving meal bags to be distributed by various agencies in and around the Boston area. When we arrived there were over 5,500 meal bags laid out and waiting .The bags were made up of white rice, instant potatoes, instant stuffing, and everything else that a family of four would need to make a Thanksgiving meal – meaning that from just this effort alone, over 25,000 people were able to have a Thanksgiving meal this year. It was an amazing sight and an amazing day for all of us who were able to help. On Saturday, November 22nd, the United Way distributed bags, along with turkeys and roasting pans to hundreds of families in Lowell, Lawrence, Quincy, South Boston, and other surrounding towns.
