Corporate Social Responsibility
Corporate Social Responsibility is a commitment to improve community well-being through discretionary business practices and contributions of corporate resources.
Falcon Investment Advisors’ primary corporate responsibility is to produce attractive risk-adjusted returns for its investors, who have entrusted Falcon to manage a portion of their assets. Falcon recognizes and embraces this partnership with our clients.
However, to stop there in describing Falcon’s responsibilities would fail to recognize the many stakeholders that contribute to and participate in Falcon’s success. Such other stakeholders include our employees and their families; the employees, customers, and suppliers of our portfolio companies; our advisors, consultants and service providers; other private equity groups and the clients they serve; the financial markets and the thousands of people who work honestly and tirelessly to drive this important engine of the world’s economies; governments and charitable organizations; and the world’s ecosystems. Falcon’s actions impact many of these stakeholders as well as others, and Falcon recognizes that it is responsible for its actions. As a result, we are committed to promoting transparency and good corporate governance, providing stewardship of the environment, protecting the basic rights and freedoms of all human beings, contributing to the communities in which our portfolio companies operate, and ensuring that our portfolio companies operate with the highest ethical and legal standards. While Falcon is a small company, it proudly contributes to a world that calls for companies of all sizes and capabilities to recognize their Corporate Social Responsibilities (“CSR”).
